Aivison Autonomous Mobile Robots Partners with K.W.Metal Work/KPT to Enhance,New Efficiency in Agricultural Equipment Production

1.Introduction:

In today’s fast-evolving industrial landscape, smart manufacturing and automation technologies have become key drivers of productivity and efficiency. Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR Robots), as pioneers of this transformation, are reshaping traditional production and logistics processes worldwide with their flexibility, intelligence, and efficiency.

AIVISON has long been committed to helping customers optimize and upgrade their production processes through innovative automation solutions. Recently, we entered into a groundbreaking partnership with Thailand’s leading agricultural equipment manufacturer—K. W. Metal Work Public Company Limited (hereafter referred to as KWM).

Faced with growing production demands and market pressures, KWM recognized that traditional material handling methods could no longer meet their development needs. They urgently required a more efficient and intelligent solution to enhance their logistics automation capabilities. In this context, AIVISON, leveraging its expertise and extensive experience in the Autonomous Mobile Robots field, successfully earned KWM’s trust.

2.Project Background:

K. W. Metal Work Public Company Limited (KWM), established in 2009, is a leading Thai company specializing in the production and distribution of agricultural equipment, including plow discs, harrow discs, bulldozer blades, disc plows, and agricultural screw conveyors. Headquartered at Sukhumvit 71 in Bangkok, the company operates three branches and has a registered capital of 20 million baht, making it Thailand’s largest agricultural tools manufacturer.

Autonomous Mobile Robots

In the fast-paced and competitive manufacturing industry, KWM has continuously faced dual challenges of production efficiency and logistics costs. As market demand grows and production scales increase, KWM’s internal logistics system has encountered heightened demands. Traditional handling methods not only consumed significant labor and resources but were also inefficient and prone to errors, which limited productivity and market responsiveness. To address this, KWM sought advanced logistics Autonomous Mobile Robots technologies to improve material handling efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall production workflow efficiency.

Through collaboration with AIVISON, KWM aims to automate material handling and transportation during the production process using AIVISON’s lifting robots. This will optimize production workflows, boost efficiency, lower logistics costs, and ultimately strengthen KWM’s market competitiveness.

3.Solution:

Autonomous Mobile Robots

In this collaboration, KWM selected AIVISON’s JX-1000 and JX-1500 models to address challenges such as high transportation costs and complex handling processes for large parts during manufacturing. Both models offer rotational lifting capabilities, with load capacities of 1T and 1.5T respectively, and a minimum passage width of just 1050/1000 mm, ensuring smooth and efficient navigation even in narrow spaces.

Autonomous Mobile Robots
JX-1000:
  • Rotational Lifting: Capable of handling loads up to 1000kg, equipped with a rotating pallet to keep the cargo direction unchanged relative to the ground during operation.
  • 360° Protection: Front navigation laser and rear obstacle detection laser ensure safety during operation.
  • Navigation Options: Supports multiple navigation methods such as SLAM, QR codes, and reflective tape, allowing flexible adaptation to various scenarios.
Autonomous Mobile Robots
JX-1500:

Heavy-duty Performer: Supports ultra-heavy loads up to 1500kg, optimized dimensions ensure a minimum passage width of 1m with a height of 280mm.
Smart Algorithms: Capable of recognizing racks with a wide detection range of ≥7cm on one side, automatically adjusts and aligns to load the racks with precision, improving load success rates with advanced algorithms.
